Important notice: Please don't add the works that are in the gallery of the club to your Favourites, but the original works of the artists, they would rather prefer that in their original submissions!

Well I see you have some difficulties with our new theme... Though I know there is some time left for you to post, but it would be rather sad if we won't get some submissions up to the point.

I'll try to help you out a bit.
I am posting two of the pictures I made into the gallery of the club, just to show you the general ideas. So you are invited to take a peak in: [link] and here: [link] .
You DON'T have to do things that look a like! These are just some clues for you to carry on.

BRAND NEW BEGINNING, what is that?
Try to think, what you feel when you hear these words? What do you see?
Ask your friends what they think when they hear these words, parents or just a random person at school, university or at work.

And then, when you have the answer, as brief as it might be, think of how to make it show through your work. Please add the description in your artistic comments (in the original deviation) of how the work carries the "Grand Idea".

Come on! There are 10 days left! You can make it!

Hello dear friends,
This is the moment we all were anticipating.
A theme is coming!

Here I will list the rules for attending the theme: (please read carefully)

The topic is: "A Brand New Beginning"

The dates when you can start posting: from 25.10.2009 to 18.11.2009. That's plenty of time to think of something creative.

The participants must be club members.

1 deviation per person, if several deviations would be sent by same participant, then I'll chose the first one.

The deviation must be posted after the date of this journal. Earlier works can't apply. This is the whole idea of the new theme, for you to practice on your photography skills.

For sending a deviation note the club by note:
The title should be: "Brand new beginning"
In the note: A thumb or a link to your deviation.

And we'll turn to the new news:

1. We've got our first assistant ~acww-freak08 - Melissa as Club co-administrator. let's welcome her here!
(and some more might join us soon!)

2. Recently DA stuff are adding new features to the site. And one of them is group formation.
As being a club, we have the possibility to turn ourselves into a group, which might widen our activity through the site and maybe add new features to the club. The most beautiful thing about that, is that, for now, it is for free!
But, once a club being turned into a group, it's irreversible, it will remain as a group.

So it is very important for us to know what you think.

If you like the idea, then post here a word about it: "Groups are cool." would be enough, unless you want to add something.
If you don't like the idea, then post another word about it: "Clubs are cooler." or something like that. (off course you just can say "No - for a group.")

So please tell us what you think about those things. We would really like to know your opinion.
